Should there be more or less sport at secondary school? Write down what you think, and why. Then

I play soccer for Dubuque Senior High School, I’m a defender. Uh, this is my first year playing soccer since I was ten or eleven, because I, I play basketball, that’s my main sport. And I think that’s the sport I wanna continue throughout my high school career more than soccer. But I play soccer as a second sport, so I don’t have to do gym. But I’ve, I’ve … starting to enjoy soccer a lot more than basketball.

Uh, our team, we’ve won four times, lost once and we’ve tied, or draw, five times. So, I mean, we’re not, we’re not … great, but like we’re not bad either. We’ve … we draw a lot, we’re not very good at scoring. It’s usually one to one, two to zero, things like that. Uhm, but … I have a lot of fun playing, I mean, I made a lot of new friends. And a big thing when you play soccer is that – or any sport in the United States – is that a lot of the older kids (the Seniors, the Juniors) you really … uh, befriend them, because you’re all part of the team, so that really helps you get to know more people and fit into the school more than you would if you didn’t play a sport or anything like that.
